Selected Portfolio
My work lives at the intersection of story, emotion, and experience. This portfolio is a narrative capture of the creative worlds I’ve built, the emotional systems I’ve designed, and the moments where imagination and clarity meet.
Each piece is a doorway into how I think, create, and translate emotional intelligence into something people can see, feel, and use.
Learning Architecture — Designing Experiences That Shift Behavior
Frameworks, pathways, and emotionally intelligent systems.
Cali-Land: A Legislative Training Game
The Need
A statewide advocacy organization needed a way to teach complex civic concepts in a way that felt accessible, playful, and culturally relevant — not like another civics lecture.
The Design
I built Cali‑Land, a self‑paced, game‑like world where learners navigate California’s civic landscape through characters, quests, and narrative choices. The workbook and activities use metaphor, humor, and emotional logic to make advocacy feel like an adventure.
My Process & Perspective
I wanted to create a world where civic engagement felt like belonging, not bureaucracy. By using story and worldbuilding, I could turn abstract systems into emotional experiences — something people could feel, not just understand.
Outcomes
Learners reported feeling more confident, more connected to the material, and more willing to take action. The organization gained a tool that made advocacy training more joyful, memorable, and human.
12-week EQ Leadership Cohort
The Need
Leaders needed a way to deepen emotional intelligence beyond surface‑level concepts — something experiential, embodied, and grounded in real workplace dynamics.
The Design
I designed a 12‑week cohort experience blending Emotional Agency™, applied improv, and leadership development. Each week focused on a different emotional signal, paired with exercises, reflection prompts, and real‑world practice.
My Process & Perspective
Emotional intelligence isn’t a checklist — it’s a lived relationship with your internal world. I built the cohort around emotional mechanics, not personality traits, so leaders could understand how emotions work and why they matter.
Outcomes
Participants reported increased clarity, better communication, and more grounded decision‑making. Teams gained a shared emotional language that improved collaboration and trust.
EQ Toolbox Workbook
The Need
Leaders needed practical tools to apply emotional intelligence in real time — not just theory.
The Design
I created the EQ Toolbox Workbook: a collection of visual tools, emotional frameworks, and guided exercises that help people navigate emotional signals with clarity and choice.
My Process & Perspective
I wanted the workbook to feel like a companion — something leaders could return to when they needed grounding, perspective, or a way to translate emotion into action.
Outcomes
The workbook became a go‑to resource for teams, supporting coaching conversations, conflict navigation, and personal reflection.
