Emotional Agency™

A method and a universe for moving through tight, reactive moments with more space, clarity, and choice.

What it is

Emotional Agency™ is the practice of treating emotions as collaborators — each with a job, a signal, and a way of moving. It’s a method for navigating emotional moments with more intention, and a universe of characters, tools, and stories that make that practice visible and usable.

The Inner Office

Inside Emotional Agency, your inner world is a workplace — a place where your emotions clock in, collaborate, and try to help you do your job as a human.
Every emotion has a role.
Every role has a purpose.
And the way you work with them shapes how you move through your day.

The Characters (Sneak Peek)

Joy

Office Manager

Joy tends the environment.
They notice what’s helping, what’s working, and what’s worth celebrating.
Watering the office plants, stocking the snacks, keeping the printer running, and maintaining the emotional conditions that make good work possible.
Joy’s job is to remind you what’s alive, what’s available, and how to find your way back to it.

Anger

Compliance Officer

Anger protects the rules of the space.
They name the boundaries, the values, or when a line has been crossed. Holding you — and others — accountable to what matters.
Anger’s job is to keep your inner work aligned with your truth.

The Method: Pause. Play. Perform.

This is how you collaborate with your emotional coworkers.

  • Pause — notice which coworker just walked into the room and what they’re signaling
  • Play — explore what they’re trying to help you see, shift, or understand
  • Perform — choose the next aligned step that creates more space, clarity, or momentum

This is the practice. The universe is how you learn it.
