Emotional Agency™
A method and a universe for moving through tight, reactive moments with more space, clarity, and choice.
What it is
Emotional Agency™ is the practice of treating emotions as collaborators — each with a job, a signal, and a way of moving. It’s a method for navigating the emotional moment with more intention, and a universe of characters, tools, and stories that make that practice visible and usable.

The Emotional Playground
The Emotional Playground is the metaphorical workplace where your emotions clock in, collaborate, and try to help you do your job as a human.
Every emotion has a role.
Every role has a purpose.
And the way you work with them shapes how you move through your day.
The Characters (Sneak Peek)
Joy
Office Manager
Joy tends the environment.
She notices what’s helping, what’s working, and what’s worth celebrating.
She waters the plants, stocks the snacks, keeps the printer running, and maintains the emotional conditions that make good work possible.
Her job is to keep the vibes strong and remind you what’s still alive in the room.

Anger
Compliance Officer
Anger protects the rules of the workplace.
He names the boundary, the value, the line that’s been crossed.
He holds you — and others — accountable to what matters.
His job is to make sure the work stays aligned with your integrity.

A tiny book from this universe is on its way.
The Method: Pause. Play. Perform.
This is how you collaborate with your emotional coworkers.
- Pause — notice which coworker just walked into the room and what they’re signaling
- Play — explore what they’re trying to help you see, shift, or understand
- Perform — choose the next aligned step that creates more space, clarity, or momentum
This is the practice. The universe is how you learn it.
Emotional Agency shapes:
- Leadership development
- Youth and arts education
- Onboarding and culture-building
- Creative storytelling and worldbuilding
- Tools, trainings, and immersive learning experiences
